Observe The Sky

At times we all regard the sky
Admire life’s great expanse
Great miracles displayed on high
Parading at a glance

Sapphire orange indigo grey
Scarlet incredible blue
Glistening at night glowing by day
Amazing for all to view

Radiant sun stars sparkle and blink
Silvery clouds sailing by
Splendour supreme leading to think
Just how and when and why

Is not God’s handwork on display?
Exhibiting precious jewels
How else could beauty exist this way?
Frustrating man made rules

Without The Master’s mighty hand
Regardless what we’ve heard
Heaven and earth could never stand
Without creation’s word

It’s plain enough for all to see
Each night and every day
Whether or not we now agree
The facts are on display

With rhythm as a song divine
Melodious and true
The moon will glow the sun will shine
For me my friend and you

And so it’s been year in year out
Like clockwork to regard
Praising our Maker still devout
Outside of man’s backyard
