Ocean Of Misery Poem by Unintelligible Susurration

Ocean Of Misery

Left to die in the rain
Useless, troublesome
Her tears became a puddle

Nobody cared about her
Ruined, forgotten
Her woe became a river

They were better off without her
Disgraceful, audacious
Her sorrow altered to a pond

They only pitied her
Unintelligible, extraneous
Her despair turned to a lake

You are not one of us
Secluded, hated
Her misery turned to an ocean

An ocean of misery
Longing for the loved one
Who never saved her from unhappiness

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
This poem, I will admit, comes from personal experiences. Yes, this poem is entirely about me.

This is how I felt during a period when misery was all I knew. My misery slowly advanced into greater stages of wretchedness. This is depicted as the despair growing from a puddle to an ocean.
