Octopus Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Octopus

Like an octopus sucking up the city, a building stood
in the middle of the airport.

A monstrosity beckoning people to turn their eyes and
look at it.

After seeing it just once, all eyes will ever afterward
be drawn to look at it again and again.
