Ode To Fall Poem by Luke Butler

Ode To Fall

Oh fall, how one can fall for you,
You are as the sunset, alighting the sky,
Bridging the gap of life and death, for those which must die,
As our tears dribble down our cheek,
thou showest the beauty in death, as the leaves which blew,
Thy art scary, yet peaceful, as we move from a time of life to death,
Macbeth, Macbeth, thou chant as thine art protested,
waiting for summer to breath its last breath,
Oh fall, how one can fall for you,
You are as a quiet day,
playing music in which we to easily miss,
The birds, the trees, the brooks that rumble, it is true bliss,
Your soundtrack takes away the blue,
I am reminded of this as the leaves were a rustle,
To take time, to reflect, and not to bustle,
Oh fall, how one can fall for you,
You are a time of fullness for us to enjoy,
Unlike spring, which tricks people
into believing its goodness, so much so like the battle of troy, Fall your weather is complete,
as we relax in the morning dew,
Everything is at its peak, like the leaves of colour gold,
Fall you bring out the best, whether young or old,
Oh, fall how one can fall for you.
