Ode To Hope Poem by maitreyi menon

Ode To Hope

Rating: 5.0

It is all because of my stupid pride,

I thought i would always get a ride

And i moved you to a side.

Guess my mind wasn't that wide

I tried to build a few walls at once,

Never thought you would fight them with guns,

But dreams are dreams, You cannot lose to them

I was pure cream in front of them.

Your dreams about me are in drain.

But i can't let mine go vain

I hope once,

Together,

We will taste the endeavor of success.

I can't wait for them to arrive.

Old friend,

No one likes to hide from the light

I can't wait for my heart to be white,

i have never seen your halo before,

with all my hearts might

i can see it now............

A sublime start with a nice poem, Maitreyi. You may like to read my poem, Love And Lust. Thank you.

Be together with your old friend to taste the endeavour of success. Even a torch with twelve cells can not spot out the central meaning hidden in the poem. An example of obsecurity. Well done.
