Of All The Little Thoughts Poem by chris bowen

Of All The Little Thoughts

a branch of an oak bends.it sends leaves towards the sea to drown.the leaves being former friends, find they cannot depend on the oak, who now chokes back the tears from all of these years of shedding his friend the leaves.the free branch now understands, life has a plan and you follow them.but how did the lowly branch become the murderer of leaves, how did it happen to send its little friends to the seas? all because someone bumped the tree with the bumper of their car so gently.i do believe he's dead, the little oak, the little girl thought in her head, throwing up a baseball and chewing gum.she wondered where tree's come from?
