Of All The Things I'Ve Seen Between Things Past Poem by Kenna

Of All The Things I'Ve Seen Between Things Past

(Where passed by the winds of time they remain
Moments - immortalized - once first, now last
Forever etched on some eternal plane.)
Your eyes, your laugh: as if it were today
Greet me from a noonday dream's looking glass
Where you and I have never parted way
Where never thoughts like this, of you, harass.

Where the sands of time filled in Reason's fist
Were never thrown to be blown back again
Where haunting happiness remains a cyst
And never was a kiss we kissed in vain.

But sadly as our souls unchange by days
Us, our lives, move in Eolian ways.
