Of Sky, Mountains and Sea

A bit of sky
came down for a respite:
snow-capped ranges

The sky remains
lip-locked forever:
mountain ranges

The sea rises
in her incurable optimism
to kiss the sky in vain

The hills and mountains
looked down upon the sea;
indulgent pity

It appears to do so at the horizon. Beautiful poem. Thank you. (Report) Reply

Poem of the Day

poet George Gordon Byron

So we'll go no more a-roving
So late into the night,
Though the heart still be as loving,
And the moon still be as bright.

For the sword outwears its sheath,
