Off The Canvas Poem by Juan Olivarez

Off The Canvas

Off the canvas once more he came,
With savage fury one more time.
But mores the pity and the shame,
I was enjoying Spring sublime.

But it has to be his last hurrah,
His legs are gone you see.
They're getting ready to throw in the towel,
Then Summer's fans will jump with glee.
