Oh, Darkness, Darkness Of My Soul Poem by Christina Ader

Oh, Darkness, Darkness Of My Soul

Rating: 3.0

oh, darkness, darkness of my soul,
endured with the time and still not gone,
marred half a far to hollowed bottom,
manacled diamond, by love forgotten.

raucous contour confronting whines
echoed in spite of secret seal, mice-
infested dungeon, corrupted tunnel -
mazed mind, reckless winner, waits

for burial. the spot is our meeting garden.

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

Very good! A fine elegy, that somewhat incorporates a classic rethoric and a modern literary outfit into a fine piece of poetry. Congratulations!
