Oh Nature! Poem by Ibekwe chisom

From the sun set, to the twilight
you never seized to give your light
and your cool warming breeze
that keeps the birds always in flight
oh! , so melodious
even when it seems so hideous,
we humans are the source of your witness
to your faith of kindness,
the hilly mountains
even so high and tall,
bows at your kneels,
the rushing rivers
and the running streams
with thee, you provided us life,
thou bestowed a fountain of food,
even so tall to be called a tree! ,
oh! , why have you been so keen?
With the rain drops bright
the thoundrous storm, that makes you a king,
with thy rising sun,
even so hot to heat us up,
the moon that comes with the night,
and calls us to sleep like babies,
and thou watches over us,
we plead that you remember's our crops,
oh! Lovely nature
