Oh The Blood Poem by Kat Smith

Oh The Blood

there was blood
too much blood
I never knew I could bleed so much blood
my dream
It was saturated in blood
drenched
dripping
In its foulness
I was drowning
In blood
The walls of my skull was stained in blood
By the time I awoke
I fear I may not be able too was away
The blood
Oh the blood
It was every were
The blood was
Behind the lids of my eyes
Behind of the breaths of my cries
All of it
Blood
My nose
My ears
All of me
Blood
Bursting
Dripping
Oozing
All the
Blood
My god the blood
Please
Stop the blood

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
this was about a dream i remember having
i haven't actually ever bled that much
but the dream was horrific
thankfully it was the only nightmare with that ratio of blood versus well everything else.
