Oil and Water

Sometimes two just don't mix.
That's alright.
Let it go.

Some things you just can't fix.
That's alright.
Let it go.

Water is the universal solvent.
However, well... you know.
There is nothing you can do.

If you feel like water.
Willing, and compliant.
If oil comes your way,
reluctant, and resistive.
Some things aren't meant to be.
That's alright.
Let it go.

It's alright.

O Love! thou makest all things even
In earth or heaven;
Finding thy way through prison-bars
Up to the stars;
Or, true to the Almighty plan,
That out of dust created man,
