Old Age Home.... Poem by BHARTI CHANDWANI

Old Age Home....

Thousands of wrinkles on their forhead,
depicting their wrries and agony not only age......
left in solitude, isolated in huge bricks wall,
cursing the rough luck that have fall upon.......

oh my dear child! why you become so wild? ? ?
do you remember the day, when we went to leave you,
in hostel, for a bright future....
with wet eyes and stones on heart? ? ? ?
I hold you tightly in my arms with a promise,
to bring you home back......
Today why this hope is at stake? ? ? ?

Mother who bore you for nine months..
Father who worked hard for you day and nights...
discarded by you! ! ! their own child...
an act so unkind....
Isolated, secluded and forlorn..
They rest in old age home, eyes always at door,
waiting for their own...
But disappointment everyday beguiled...
heart shattered, eyes turned into stone.
Blind faith still recreating a HOPE.

They died a hundred times......
just to bestow you a healthy life.
You are not a men, but a beast......
whose parents here weeps..
Dont kill the human in you,
while chasing your dreams.....
that soul of your parents screams.
They are your creator, not toys....
thrown often after your joys.

Fear men Time can repeat itself....
your child can beget you in himself! ! ! ! !
