Old Beige Couch Poem by Faye Bartalone

Old Beige Couch

Plain white wall,
And an old beige couch.
Sat a teen mom,
And her first born.
Smiles painted on both of their faces,
Enjoying the little moment of youth.
Holding her child tight,
Afraid to ever let her go.
The person holding the camera,
Smiles maybe,

Witnessing the love,
Between a mother and a daughter.
