Old Dublin Bachelor's Proposal Poem by Pasquale DiMeola

Old Dublin Bachelor's Proposal

Robin O'Malley
Your quite shilly-shally
Barmaid of the valley
Of all who can rule

Don't be fuddy-duddy
Since I be like putty
With fingers smeared muddy
In the mold of a fool

I'm not namby-pamby
In search of a mammy
Who will..er..can be
A bridegroom for you

Oh dear tootsy-wootsy
Come put on your bootee
Pure moxie my cutie
Who'll stick like strong glue

So Robin O'Malley
Please don't dilly-dally
Cut through the back alley
Our wedding is due!
