Oliver Poem by Rex-mayor Ubini

Oliver

Never seen a heart like mine
Nor had kissed lips like mine,
Nor a mind with thoughts as mine
Clear as crystal short a mile
Sugary tongues flattered and smile
Yet Oliver, she went away
Still searching for me to date

Never seen a face like mine
Nor my brow as free from line
Nor a mirror to preen as my eyes
She sang am cool as ice
As true as that, yet she lies
When she turned to walk away
Still searching for me to date

Never seen a guy like me
Nor a head as good and wit
Nor a smile as sun as it
I stick my finger around for a ring
To be your queen oh my king
Yet she turned and went away
Still searching for me to date

Again she came with bleeding eyes'
With shivering lips she recite;
Never live a heart with love as mine
All I met are not as good
Not even one is near to you
Yet she turned and went away
Still searching for me to date.
