Omniscent Poem by Tiffany Rose Moczydlowski

Omniscent

Rating: 5.0

Eager eyes follow the movie.
Lively.

Glassy eyes absorb the room.
Unmoving.

Kids sprawled out on the couch.
Carefree.

Body sinking heavily on the bed.
Unyielding.

Laughter bubbles over in midst of a joke.
Clever.

Mind dulls in midst of sluggish thoughts.
Uncaring.

Cinnamon's scent wafts throughout the kitchen.
Comforting.

Blood's essence thickens the air upstairs.
Unnoticed.

Family chatters pointlessly downstairs.
Oblivious.

Blade clatters to the dingy floor.
Unloved.
