On Christmas Eve Poem by Dr John Celes

On Christmas Eve

Toll the bells on Christmas Eve;
Spread the Christmas cheer;
Light the candles everywhere;
Wait for birth of Christ.

Make the crib in every home;
Dress in garments new;
Decorate the Christmas tree;
Keep the gifts ready.

Share the joy of Christmas Day;
Feel the peace of Christ;
Sing all hymns in praise of God;
Thank the Redeemer.

Give to others, things you can;
Greet the folks around;
Remind world why Christ was born
Glorify the Lord.

Christmas time is to rejoice;
Cut the Christmas cake;
Show the world what Christians are;
Renew faith in Christ.

Christ was born in humble way,
Although ‘King of Kings’!
He had come to bear the Cross,
And forgive all sins.
