How I cried, when you left me so suddenly,
I wanted to thank you for all that you had done,
But I didn’t know, God loved you so much,
That He called you unexpectedly, my dear friend.
The times spent with you, were so very special,
I could never forget those days,
Your words, your laughter and your mood swings,
And that wonderful smile on your face!
I looked around and found millions of friends,
And they extended their hands too,
But my eyes constantly searched for a person,
Who could somehow be just like you!
As time moved on, I decided to smile,
I decided to be myself again,
But your loss hurt me all the while,
Never did I show my pain.
My heart sank, my eyes cried,
I lost hope and thought it was the end,
But I never knew God loved me so,
He sent you again in the form of a new friend!
I don’t know why, but I saw your face in his eyes,
And as time moved on, I realized,
He was so exactly just like you,
I would find you again, I never knew!
He guided me, just like you did,
He was lively and sensible just like you,
With so many friend around me all these days,
He was the only one who could replace you.
When I felt low, he gave me hope,
When I was confused, he taught me to cope,
That warm feeling, was experienced by me,
I last experienced it when you were with me.
I really thank God for sending you back,
I thank Him for giving me a best friend,
I really hope with all my heart,
This wonderful friendship never ends!
