On My Feet Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

On My Feet

On my feet

In this age and stage
Many hopes, full of pains

Few days remaining
To enter seventy

I work like a mule
I do so proudly

Far above nine to five
Ten hours, minimum!

Have a film on my hands
I wrote the script
Directed, done filming
Part of it remaining
Then P.P. is main thing.

Has expense, and I am
Stubborn as were rocks
On mountains, around me
In childhood, and made me.

I work as did hero
Hulk Hogan's
Wrestling.

No
Never kissing ass
Unless so for its joy
My kind and too sexy…

No
Never to seek help!
I remain on own feet,
Strange to begging!
