On My Tongue Poem by Echo of the forest

On My Tongue

A raven!
Look, a raven!
I shouted to my dog
who saw my voice
take shape
and fly

In a bark he caught it
and returned the raven to me
perhaps it was ment for it
to perish on my tongue
