On Tender Wings Poem by David Harris

On Tender Wings

Rating: 5.0

The soothing strings of violins
waver through the air
as couples hold one another close
gliding across the dance floor.
It looks as if they possessed wings upon their heels
as they glide in unison
to the soft music score.
If love were to blossom
it would be on tender wings
across the dance floor tonight.
