On The Horizon Poem by Robert Longley

On The Horizon

All the world around you
And others far away
Will soon share things in common
That you will see one day

An idea first in fiction
But a concept based in fact
An outward journey inward
Tied to how atoms are packed

It’s pattern and precision
On such a massive scale
That seeing it in total
All other concepts pale

This is a point of drama
That changes all of man
When you learn that the impossible
Is amongst the things you can
