On The Island Shores
When the sun goes down with her hopes still ashore
all that she seeks his presence.
the breeze of the cold twilight yet too weak to leash her lonely thoughts,
and yet she walks as a lonely in the lifeless shore of the island.
the spray of the ocean on her face,
reminds her of the last cruise with him.
but yet, all that eases her is his presence unknowingly within her.

A lovely romantic poem, a blissful recall of voyage of pure bliss nicely penned from inner recesses of the heart. Love is a spiritual experience that affects all and sundry profoundly. Nicely encapsulated poem written in poetic diction. Thanks for sharing Anjana.
