On Writing Verse Poem by Asset Balin

On Writing Verse

such a suave scamp
was i-i realized
my lobes adhere
to a sluggish verve
to scribble my nerve
without any reserve

I put on a naked + Changing constancy with melody
Translucent vestry + All within my rhapsodies
on most of my poetry + You may relish bitterness
To defray for the gravity + And ambivalence with sweetness
Of a hundred imagery + I delude with honest delusion

i'll pull the curtain
low, not to caution
you, 'tis the beginning
of a chain of inveighing
on the prescence of the moon-
on the darkness of the sun- -
on the conception of my tomb,
with the dying of my pun.
