Once In A Lifetime Poem by Ala' Elouri

Once In A Lifetime

Rating: 5.0

Don't come back
With a smile on your face
Don't come back
With roses hidden behind your back
Don't come back,
It's too late, I will never forgive
I was mistaken for trying to give
I gave more than I recieved.
I supposed we would be a family and achieve.
But you just don't know how to value such unique things!
Selfish, unthoughtful, unsensible
Funny how I never realized
That you had those charatestics deep inside.
I was blinded by the flame of love
But now, I will smile
I will live my life
I didn't lose, I gained
I did a mistake nevertheless I learned my mistake.
Keep in mind
When I came to life
I came as one.
There will come a day where you'll realize...
I'm like death.
I come once in a lifetime.

Ya its happens, sometimes such illusions veil our senses....... :) Is it your personal story or just poetic fancies?
