Once In A Lifetime Poem by Rose C. Devine

Once In A Lifetime

It was a warm day and
the sun shone bright.
Many large white clouds
filled the sky.
Cool water splashed around
my tired feet.
As I watched the boats
sail slowly by.
There was a peaceful quietness
all around me.
and I felt like the King
of the hill.
the breathtaking view was
a sight to behold.
How I wished for that
moment time could stand still.
