Once an eternity,
A star will fade,
Into a dark, frozen glade,
Once again to be remade,
On it will live,
Until an age has past,
It will again be re-cast,
Its beauty remaining unsurpassed,
We ourselves are unlike a star,
Specs against the vast sky,
Waiting for our time to die,
Our passing so spry,
Their life,
We’ll never know,
The light upon the sky they bestow,
An eternal glow,
