One April Day Poem by D. S. Jones

One April Day

I want to remember the times we shared
But Time holds lock and key
To peek within the keyhole now
Is the cruelest of all charities.
The amusement now you hold so dear
Void of where your family lives
The Cavern of your life swept clean
A stroke has taken you there.
