One Brick at a Time

Thinking of past
We seem to worry about
All the wasted time
And lost opportunities

Future only brings
Fear of the unknown
The more we think
More we get consumed

Bricks and mortar
For the building of life
Lay there on the side
As we keep pondering

Let's keep laying
One brick at a time
Let's live this present
And make life worthwhile.

Poem of the Day

poet Sara Teasdale

"Oh Day of Fire and Sun"
by Sara Teasdale

Oh day of fire and sun,
Pure as a naked flame,
Blue sea, blue sky and dun
Sands where he spoke my name;

Laughter and hearts so high
That the spirit flew off free,
