One Can Be... Poem by Asma Khan

One Can Be...

Rating: 4.5

This is little like pain
it hurts, but brings a smile
you wonder how happy one can be

There is little hope in time
it worries, but gets solved
you wonder how troubles can be

The sun is little kind like you
it shines, but hides in the evening
you wonder how bright once can be

There is little wisdom in ugliness
It disgusts, but attracts me
you wonder how beautiful one can be

This is little like joy
iit soothes but goes away soon
you wonder how deceitful one can be

The shadow is little like me
it composes the light, but darkens everything
you wonder how indulgent once can be

This is little like a departure
it breaks you apart, but gathers eventually
you wonder how extinct one can be
