One Chance Poem by Noorie Ali

One Chance

Statue this moment
A second so amazing
A midnight shimmer

One moon, millions of stars
I gaze into those amazing sparks

Navy shady dusk
Numb frozen heartbeat shivered with excitement
Cry to her leading light above, a sin within a sin
A shameful print, a cringe emotion.

A resentful scream
A tear flowing
Seeking forgiveness
The arrogance shed

Embed me with good deeds
Release me form these evil haunted Scars
Inside of me

My head filled with this grime, Show me light
Show me the right path
Lead me to the better
Filter me with the precision

Do not let me astray
Shower me with clear raindrops

Purify my soul, with a silk like fragment
A mask or a protective shield.
Embrace I
With your love.
