one day
is all i get

one day
with you
is all i have.

all i have
is a moment
no flowers, no tequila shots
no prayers, no tears
no shade of darkness
no fear of lightening blindness of memory

all i have is you
no hunger, no pain
no earthly abode
that i bring to your
palace of beauty
of this momentary life.

no seasons, no return to the past
no future
just you and me
a moment not to be relived.
only to be felt
through the eyes
of your eternal soul.
