One Day Away From You Poem by Warren Augustus de Guzman

One Day Away From You

Rating: 2.3

Your silent stare fills me with wonder.
What are you thinking?
What are you feeling?
I seek the answers in your eyes, in your grin, in your kiss.

Wonder at your silent stare,
Silently staring in wonder.
Your eyes, your grin, your kiss.
What are you thinking?
What are you feeling?

In your silent stare I feel it.
Do you think it?
Do you feel it?
I feel it in your eyes, in your grin, in your kiss.

Wonder at your silent stare,
Staring silently in wonder.
Your grin, your eyes, your kiss.
Do you think what I think?
Do you feel what I feel?

I long for it, your silent stare.
Do we feel the same?
Do we think the same?
I long for your eyes, your grin, your kiss.

Wonder at your silent stare,
I don’t care if you do or don’t, I think it.
I don’t care if you don’t or do, I feel it.
silently staring in wonder,
your eyes, your grin, your kiss.

Not a bad effort although far be it from me to condone girls grinning. I like them smiling, grinning does have a bit of a roguish nature and girls are lily white pure innocence. The ones I know. H
