One Day In Time Poem by Joyce Hemsley

One Day In Time

One January day in the long ago
We promised to meet in the afterglow.
There was no heart as true as thine
There was no happier heart than mine.
We saw the moonbeams come out to play.
Our troubles and woes floating away.
Love songs were echoing up in the skies
All because of the love in our eyes.
And on a wedding day in Spring
I was the fairy wearing your ring.
