One Liner Vulture - Lincoln Park Zoo Poem by Ima Ryma

One Liner Vulture - Lincoln Park Zoo

A vulture at Lincoln Park Zoo,
I like to make the humans laugh.
So stand up comedy I do
For the visitors and the staff.
Of course I am no Jay Leno.
A dif'rent feather is a jay.
I take my schtick where e'er I go,
Ciner-humerous bird of prey.
There's comedy club gigs galore.
I miss the Zoo when I am gone.
Don't fly commercial anymore -
I only get one carrion.

For lunch, I chewed on a dead clown.
It tasted funny going down.
