One Love, True Love Poem by Katheryn Foley

The light the love the gentle hand,
Pulled me away from this land.
The warmth the candle gave us.
That night was one that made us,
Fall in love with every second
I held you in my arms.
Protecting you from any kind of harm.

This is what I pictured
How true love would be,
Two people forever safely,
locked together but both free.

I've lost this love once in my life,
And still to this day I will fight,
To hold you in my arms again,
Once and for all together the end.
