One Perfect Moment Poem by Maggie DeMay

One Perfect Moment

Rating: 5.0

One perfect moment
one tick of the clock
encased in amber
sealed forever
against time and tide
etched into the universe

One perfect moment
the stars and planets
in perfect alignment

One perfect moment
one second in a lifetime
years disapear
fireworks exlpoding at noon

One perfect moment
when everything came together
sunlight on the sea
moonlight on roses
the waltz of infinity
playing our song

One perfect moment
melting into you
senses on overload
sight and smell and touch
your arms around me
your lips on mine

One perfect moment
one tick of the clock
encased in amber
sealed forever
against time and tide
etched into the universe

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

I know this place. Angelina and I had many wonderful moments, but, after 20 years, I remember when she once kissed me, and though she's been gone for aover 20 years, I would gladly die to feel her kiss me again. Words don't touch this place very easily.
