One Red Line Poem by sarah mahmod

One Red Line

One thin red line,
Can tell a story of many.........
Filled with anger, loss hope, and disspear.
But when does that one line multiply?
And there is nothing but red lines left, that holds the memories of pain? regrets?
Slowly digging in your skin..........in ur heart
Getting dragged farther, longer that intended.
As you watch the thick red liquid drip from your arm, with every heart beat.
Satisfied with what you see, craving more....
How much can you take before you look away from your demons?
Before you can have a smile on your face without the pain?
Without the blood.........
