One’s Solitude And Peace
it is that time
as the sun sets
as the chaos of the day recedes
and the sanctuary of the evening
is ours;
it is that time of quiet and peace
when the insistent world
withdraws like the sun
and one’s mind is as wide
as the space the gentle light fills;
and it is time for solitude and silence
