One True Friend Poem by Anders Lim

I looked to the skies
Only to no surprise
That I pondered once again
At the God who reigns.
Why he would provide
Me with paths and guides
To seek his face
With a warm embrace.
He loves me so
Much yes I know.
He gave so much out
Of compassion without
Demanding whatsoever.
A generous giver forever.
The blessings that he lay
Forth on display
If only I took out
Some time to look about.
Seeking truths that are
Locked merely as far
As Man’s security can extend.
God is our one true friend
