One Way Street

It's a one way street for her.
She thinks he's amazing,
But it's only a one way street for her.
She feels that he just sees her as
Just another friend and nothing more.
It's a one way street for her.

She likes him,
But she doubts he feels the same.
He's into the girls way prettier than her.
She doesn't feel good enough for anyone,
let alone him.

She wants to try and get close,
But she thinks it'll just be a complete waste.
He could never look at her that way.
She just has to deal with the fact
That they're just friends and nothing more.

Maybe she is just better off alone.
Does it really matter if she's here or not?
Who would really care
If she didn't make it through the night?
No one will miss her...right?

It's too late for her
To know the answers to those questions.
It's too late for her
To find out that someone will miss her.

Now it's a one way street for him.
He really did think she was amazing.
He thought she was better than him.
Sadly it's truly a one way street.
