Only A Few

Have you walked in glowing moon light?
Felt snow beneath your feet
Beneath the starry host at night
Did your heart skip a beat?

Is Christ forgotten, is God dead?
Are hell and Heaven lies?
Is in your life Jesus the head?
Or Satan, lord of flies

While wars persist, while battles rage
While fear floods one’s soul
While fools govern the world wide stage
Heaven should be man’s goal

Yet only few see wisdom’s Light
With heads no more in sand
Only a few will win life’s fight
Knowing The Truth first hand

Only a few to self will die
Will serve Jesus unseen
Willing their King enthroned on high
Their lives to intervene

Whilst judgment draws ever near
We need to stand and fight
Seek! The King of Heaven here
Each day and every night

Knowing the devil will hinder
Will try to kill or maim
To join with his hordes as tinder
In hell’s eternal flame

Only the living Christ can save
Can help man win life’s war
Can free one’s soul from hell and grave
To enter our Father’s door…..
