Only For Cat Lovers
A cat is my world
That seems sad to say
He brings so much pleasure
And he was only a stray.
When finding my door
Not happy was he
Scratching and hissing
And so scared of me.
I was his last chance
Or off to heaven he`d gone
Such a poor tabby bundle
That had not lived very long.
He just needed love
Combined with some care
To know he was safe
And had company to share.
I hope he`s forgotten
When under frozen hedges he sat,
And now accepts as his right
He is one pampered cat.

oh this is so special...thank God he arrived at your door.. :)
I have a feeling you may like my cat poems too.....I enjoyed this one...you had me from the title.
Wonderful poem! I love the flow and simplicity of the words, plus the excellent way it was written. Love cats too!
