Only In Fairy Tales Poem by Ivana Suazo

Only In Fairy Tales

Frail heart shadows the wounds
Sun light brights every blue moon
From who to part but only from you
It's crying, don't you hear it
Love was the only thing it knew

Little girl is dying inside and out
Surrounded by a dark cloud
Rain is melting the ice away
She ain't cold hearted
Broken hearted you could really say

It's been a while
Who could she dial
Nothing but an operator talking to her in silence
Memories she can't seem to forget
She could hold onto them, but it's too late

Sad eyes filled with tears once again
Her cute little puppy face
Is there anyone out there, that could make her forget
There might be but only in fairy tales

So she cries herself to sleep to forget
But tomorrow she would wake up and regret
