Only In My Dreams Poem by Patricia Darcy

Only In My Dreams

In our dreams we can do anything

ONLY IN MY DREAMS

In my dreams I can climb the highest mountain
I can reach up and touch the brightest star,
I can dance, I can sing, I can do most anything
But only in the my dreams.

In my dreams I have beauty and grace,
I can run, I can win any race,
I can pass all exams, drive the biggest of vans,
But only in my dreams.

In my dreams I have riches galore,
Diamonds and Pearls by the score,
I'm admired far and wide, everyones on my side
But only in my dreams.

So when life is getting me down
I don't sit around with a frown.
I go to my bed, lay down my head
And drift off to my world of dreams

This's superb because a dreamer can design his/destiny beautifully. Picturing the good things of life. Well composed! Keep up!
