Only Once
Today will never come again
when tomorrow finally calls,
just as we cannot repeat
yesterday in today.
Our lives give us one chance
to do the best we can.
There is no repeating
nor turning back the clock,
what is said, is said,
what is done is done.
There is no reverse,
thus we must be careful,
only committing it right
and only once.
