Only The Moon Poem by Raghav Dhawan

Only The Moon

Its all quiet,
except for the wind in my ears.
I stand alone,
and think about how again my life steers.
Into the darkness,
that I've known before.
You try all you can,
but you'll never get the door.
You'll watch yourself die.
Forever alone.
The only way i could find was you,
but you've dumped me here again,
like a tin can, once used goes into the bin.
I spend my time thinking about you
and the things we used to do.
People come and tell me,
it ain't easy but you gotta move.
Now you tell me honey, there are billion stars in the night sky,
then why does our eyes still look only to the moon!
