Only Yesterday Poem by Audrey Heller

It seems like only yesterday,
all was peaceful and serene.
Now, it's changed dramatically,
there is no in between. Lifes
become uncertain, as we go
from day to day, you never know
what lies ahead, or what may come
your way. It's just like a guessing
game, that keeps you on your toes.
We have to be prepared and alert,
for that's the way it goes. Perhaps
in the near future, things will settle
down once more and life will start anew.
There's nothing better one could wish
for, then to see it all, come true!
